The game is played on a 5×3 grid, and as always with NoLimit City games, the graphics are awesome. A waterfall, framed by a lush rainforest full of colourful wildflowers crashes down behind the playing area. The grid itself is simple enough, but sharp-eyed players will notice a carved stone pillar rising up out of the waters behind the centre three reels. 

This pillar must be a totem of some kind and it obviously has very strong magic because all the bonuses involve these three reels. As the name of the game suggests, the features revolve around wilds, and there are two of these in the game, the regular and the Mayan wild.

There are a total of 10 regular symbols in the paytable. The lowpays consist of 3 gems in simple gold frames and 2 in complicated gold settings. The ones in the unadorned frames all offer the same awards for combinations of 3, 4, or 5 on a payline; 0.3x, 1.5x and 5x the bet. The two gems surrounded by bling are both worth 0.4x, 1.8x, and 7.5x the bet for winning combos. 

The premiums are themed. First, there are animals, a snake worth 0.5x, 2x, and 10x the bet, and an ocelot worth 0.6x, 2.5x, and 11x. Next are character symbols with a Shaman that pays 0.7x, 3x, and 13x, a King paying 0.8x, 3.5x, and 25x, and a Queen worth 1x, 4x, and 20x the bet for 3, 4, or 5 respectively.

There are only 10 paylines in the game, but as these pay both ways, combinations can start on the left or right side of the grid.

This is a random base game bonus that will synchronise the 3 middle reels to boost the chances of landing a winning combo.

Mystery Wild feature

The Mystery Wild feature is another random base game bonus that can trigger at any time. The symbol that lands slap in the centre of the grid, on the middle position of the middle reel, turns wild as do any other instances of that symbol on the grid. Not only can this lead to the formation of winning combos, but it also automatically triggers the Mayan Wilds feature which you can read about below. 

Mayan Wilds Respin feature

Whenever a wild symbol lands on one of the 3 middle reels, the Mayan Wilds Re-spins feature triggers. The centre position on the grid will turn into a sticky Mayan wild that remains in place for the duration of the bonus respins and any other wilds in view or that land on the respins stick for one spin. The player gets one respin for each wild in view, and each new wild landing adds another respin. The win multiplier is increased by +1 on every third wild.
