Adult user in the United States will no longer face blockage from seeing “most crypto adverts,” according to the business. According to the company, recent regulatory reforms are a positive indication for the industry.
“We’re doing this because the cryptocurrency landscape has continued to mature and stabilize in recent years and has seen more government regulations that are setting clearer rules for their industry,” according to a Facebook post.
Organizations such as wallets, mining operations, along with several other crypto-focused ones used to have to avail Facebook with lots of information and proof of their business dealings, but that won’t be the case anymore.
Despite the rigorous safeguards, some scammers have been to act the part of Elon Musk by posting on Facebook under a “fan page.”
“We want people to continue to explore and learn about new products and services through Facebook ads without fear of scams or fraud,” Facebook said, adding that it has considered average investors.”
Facebook has recently been embroiled in a slew of scandals. The corporation has been accused of failing to defend the freedom of expression by prioritizing the highest bidder on its platform. Consumers are constantly bombarded with adverts that they find enticing but aren’t mostly truthful or verified.
