Wynn Macau employees set to receive January bonus
Chris Grand |Nearly all the personnel who work at Wynn Macau are set to receive a bonus in January, primarily rewarding them for their dedication during 2021.
The entire qualifying Wynn Palace and Wynn Macau team members who represent 97.8% of the firm’s 12,000-strong workers will be awarded some sort of a “special allowance” that’s equal to one month’s gross salary scheduled to be disbursed on 28 January.
“To show the company’s appreciation to all team members for their collective efforts during the past challenging year,” said Wynn Macau in a statement.
“With the exceptional level of loyalty, commitment and discipline demonstrated by all Wynn team members, the company has been able to ensure the continuity and enhancement of its renowned service culture and hospitality standards, and helped to protect the health of all colleagues and Wynn guests,” further added this East Asian Casino Operator.
With the COVID pandemic bringing almost everything to a halt, Wynn Macau noted that their workforce have been highly responsive in getting vaccinated under the city’s vaccination programme, with the firm announcing that over 90% of their personnel have now been jabbed.
“The vaccination rate for Wynn team members has now reached 94.2% which will help to build herd immunity for the community,” said a statement from the company.
The same type of rewards have also been made public by other business entities that have their headquarters in Macau, with another company, Galaxy Entertainment saying that it will issue a “one-off special payment” for “eligible team members at senior manager grade and below.” All this is set to cover 97% of their workforce.
Another firm, MGM China will also go ahead and advance a “one-time discretionary allowance” to their eligible employees with Sands China advancing a “discretionary allowance” to more than 25,000of its full-time employees.
The announcement followed Macau’s report of the second case of the new Omicron variant.
