Outlaw is one of the latest releases from Australian game developer, Big Time Gaming (BTG). It’s been a long-anticipated wait for the game to be released, and it’s the final game in the game developer’s “Cult” trilogy.

It’s dedicated to the British rock band of the same name, and the two games that came before Outlaw were Wild Flower, and Lil’ Devil. The game looks fresh, modern, and it uses BTG’s Megaways mechanic, so there are 6-reels and up to 117,649-ways-to-win active on each spin.

Like the other games within the series, Outlaw lies true to the theme that BTG set out to create. The game appears to be set somewhere in the desert, presumably within Mexico. It also appears to be set near the border with the US – although there’s visible tension between the two countries in the game, and two strong, intimidating outlaws are getting ready to fight it out.

Unfortunately, Outlaw has a lower RTP than we’re used to seeing in BTG video slots – just 96.16%. This is just a shade more than the industry average, and for BTG – who are known for pushing out casino games with really high RTPs – it’s a tad disappointing, we must admit. However, there’s some amazing win potential, and players can win up to 64,400X their total stake.

Bonus Features

Outlaw has one main bonus round – although once it’s triggered, you’ll get to choose from two different bonuses and features. Like some of their other video slots, the choice is on you – the player – and this adds a layer of excitement to the video slot.

To trigger the free spins bonus round, you’ll need to land 3, 4, 5 or 6 of the scatter symbols anywhere in view. Doing so will allow you to choose either the Fallen Angel free spins, or the Dizzy in the Head free spins.

In the Fallen Angel free spins bonus round, you will receive 7 free spins. Before the free spins begin, one of the playing card values, including 9, 10, jack, queen, king, and ace will be chosen at random. This symbol will then become wild for the duration of the bonus on reels 2 through 5. Any wilds you land stick in place, and if you can fill up a reel, you’ll be awarded 3 additional free spins.

If you choose the second bonus round, Dizzy in the Head, you’ll be awarded 8 free spins. Here, a multiplier ladder comes into play – similar to what we saw in Danger High Voltage.

The maximum multiplier is 77X, although during the enhanced version of the bonus the multipliers can reach as high as 777X!

There’s also a Win Exchange bonus in Outlaw. During the base game, if you win 100X or more, you can trade your win instantly for entry to the main bonus round. If you win less than 100X, but more than 25X, you can gamble your winnings on a wheel for a chance to trigger the free spins.
