The first thing that we noticed when writing this Temple of Fortune review is that unlike some of Big Time Gaming’s slots, the game is actually quite nicely designed. There’s huge, green trees covering the game’s background, and the transparent reels allow you to look right at them!

In terms of the game’s design, Temple of Fortune is built around a 5-reel, 3-row format. There are 20 fixed paylines.

Like all of the game developer’s video slots, Temple of Fortune has the standard array of in-game settings. There’s an Auto Play function that lets you pre-set up to 100 spins to play-out automatically.

You can toggle the sound on/off, and the betting options vary between 0.20 credits and 200 credits. The RTP hovers at around 96%, depending on the online casino you choose to play at.

In terms of the game’s symbols, Temple of Fortune uses playing card values, including 9, 10, jack, queen, king, and ace to represent the low-value ones.

The high-value symbols include a red gemstone, a parrot, and the game’s logo. The wild symbol is the Explorer, and this substitutes for all other symbols apart from the scatter symbols. If you manage to form a 5-of-a-kind combo of the wild, you’ll be awarded a 1,000-coin payout!

Bonus Features

Temple of Fortune offers three bonuses and features. The first is triggered by landing three of the Treasure Chest scatter symbols anywhere in view. It’s essentially a “pick me bonus”, and you will be tasked with picking one of these chests. This will reveal a random multiplier, which is then multiplied against your stake. The maximum win from this “pick me bonus” is 500X your stake, which isn’t bad.

The second bonus round is triggered by 3, 4, or 5 of the scatter symbols anywhere in view. These scatter symbols are represented by the temples. You then enter a progression-based bonus round, and your goal is to reach as close to the top of the monument as possible. The higher up you get, the larger the prize you can win.

All you need to do is hit the “STOP” button, and you will move 1, 2, 3, or 4 positions up. If your position lands on “Collect” the bonus round ends.

The third and final bonus round in Temple of Fortune is the Mystical Wheel of Fortune bonus round. This is triggered by landing the wheel symbol on the middle three reels. Do so, and you’ll be taken to a brand-new screen and prompted to click the “SPIN” button. Here, you win a cash prize – worth up to 1,000X your bet!
